What is paper money band?

Paper money bands are small, usually paper or plastic strips that are used to hold together a bundle of bills or banknotes. Typically, they are used by banks, financial institutions, or retail businesses that handle large amounts of cash. Paper money bands come in different colors, widths, and designs and can be printed with the denomination of the bills they hold or with the logo or name of the organization using them. The bands can be easily wrapped around a stack of bills and secured with a glue strip or adhesive closure. They make it easier to handle and transport large amounts of cash while also ensuring that the bills are organized and counted accurately. In some countries, the use of paper money bands is required by law to prevent money laundering and counterfeiting.
